While close in distance, they exist on opposite ends of the political spectrum. Both Ocasio-Cortez and Forte have garnered the highest percentage of campaign money from individual donations that come from outside of N.Y.

N.Y.’s 14th Congressional District covers parts of the Bronx and Queens, but it’s a microcosm of the polarization of political ideologies in the U.S.
